Job description
The Cegid/POS Tester will be responsible for designing and running tests on Cegid usability. Cegid/POS Tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the project team. He/She will also act as BA whenever needed for functional requirements topics (e.g. gathering and documenting).

- Test delivery (Functional test, System integration tests, Regression tests)
- UAT tests support process
- Project documentation (Updating functional specifications, updating in tools like JIRA, confluence)
- Creating and updating documents for logical flow diagram & user journey.
- Minimum 2+ year’s relevant experience in software testing.
- Proficient in test life cycle:
- Manual Functional testing with various techniques
- Integration testing
- System Integration testing
- End to End testing
- Hands-on experience on creating & updating functional specification.
- Hands-on experience in writing test cases for complex projects, test data preparation from complex integrated multiple systems and test execution.
- Hands-on experience in writing test cases using technical and functional specification documents.
- Test cases optimization to achieve coverage and quality.
- Coordination with various teams on testing activities (understanding application/domain/requirements, test cases writing, execution and defects).
- Good Written and spoken communication skills in English
- Reporting to test manager on the test activities progress and data gathering to generate metrics.
- A good team player with problem-solving attitude.
- Analytical and precise: Capacity to challenge the team and convince based on facts.
- Good hands-on knowledge about the Industry standards trade life cycle Process.
- Hands-on experience of developing SQL scripts to test database
