In this project, we were focusing on delivering great experiences for the customers using an e-commerce website. We wanted to create a website that helped users understanding the history and value of JM.Weston. 

Achievements unveiled

We aimed to design a website that effectively communicates the rich history and value of J.M. Weston, while providing a seamless and intuitive user experience. By starting with user flows and site maps, we established the structure that would guide the overall user journey and ensure that each element served a purpose in both form and function.

The homepage, being the most critical touchpoint, was designed with particular care. We focused on understanding what users would expect and need upon landing, making sure that essential e-commerce elements were prominently featured. This ensured that the first impression was impactful, and the navigation was straightforward for an optimal experience.

To emphasize J.M. Weston’s heritage, we created dedicated categories that guided users through the brand’s legacy. These categories not only enriched the storytelling aspect but also provided easy access to products, enabling users to quickly browse and proceed to checkout with minimal friction. The result was a website that successfully balanced brand storytelling with user-centric e-commerce functionality.

The outcome

This e-commerce website keeps the French brand identity while being crafted to a Japanese audience. We delivered a solution that works on various devices. Users can conveniently browse products and learn more about J.M.Weston heritage. Through the mail subscription process, we are able to see a significant increase on product awareness and on sales.
