Morugie chose VISEO to build its E‑Commerce website in Japan
Morugi is a Japanese e-commerce website that sells various well-known Korean streetwear brands.
The challenge
Morugie (own by TSI), one of Japan’s largest e-commerce companies, aimed to expand into the growing Korean streetwear market. The challenge was twofold: create a brand identity that appealed to both Korean fashion enthusiasts and a broader Japanese audience, and design a website that reflected this identity. Additionally, the platform needed to be built on a system familiar to TSI while integrating modern design elements to enhance user experience.
Achievements unveiled
Brand Identity:
The brand identity needed to be dynamic and fashion-forward. It had to reflect elements of Korean streetwear culture while maintaining a connection to the Japanese market. We carefully curated visuals and patterns to embody the bold and expressive nature of the Korean fashion scene.
Website:
Once the brand identity was established, we designed the website around it. Our focus was on ensuring the content and navigation were easy to use for everyone, not just Korean streetwear fans. We created a user-friendly experience through clear layout and intuitive sections.
Production:
To ensure easy maintenance, we built the site on a Japanese platform that TSI’s team knew well. We enhanced it with animations and features to create a rich user experience, balancing visual appeal with ease of administration.
The outcome
The project successfully launched TSI’s Korean streetwear offering, capturing the attention of a growing audience. The new brand identity resonated strongly, increasing website traffic and engagement. TSI’s team was able to manage the site effortlessly, ensuring future scalability.
