How did we help our client utilize YourCegid Retail to effectively manage over 1,000 stores worldwide?
Our client, a french world-renowned brand specializing in pure and natural cosmetics and perfumes from Provence, chose Yourcegid Retail software to fuel its international expansion and manage its network of stores worldwide. Today, more than 1,000 stores in more than 25 countries are equipped with Yourcegid Retail.
The challenges
Our client sought a reliable international technology partner and an innovative management solution to support its rapid expansion. After evaluating the available options in 2010, they selected Yourcegid Retail.
The solution
Our client, with a global presence, required large-scale deployment and real-time access to centralized servers in Asia-Pacific, Japan, North and South America, and Europe. This created challenges for Cegid subsidiaries and local partners. “We automated processes to meet the tight deployment schedule,” said Sylvain Jauze, Director of International Operations at Cegid.
In 2010, VISEO and Cegid began equipping 35 stores in Australia over three months. Next, they rolled out Yourcegid Retail in 350 stores across Asia, including Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Thailand. In Japan alone, they localized the solution for over 100 stores. The deployment continued in 250 North American stores, and all sales outlets will eventually connect to the new IT system. The rollout is now underway in Taiwan, Korea, and Brazil, with future plans for Latin America, India, and South Africa.

Achievements unveiled
Yourcegid Retail, aligned with the client’s customer-centric approach, introduced advanced CRM functions, including a robust loyalty management engine tailored to each country’s needs. In Asia, it handles complex points programs, while in Europe, it supports customer relationship programs and special offers. Additional features like in-store mobility, omnichannel integration, and biometric identification of sales staff enhance operations.
The client now interacts with customers in real-time, manages loyalty points across channels, personalizes promotions, and provides services such as web-to-store.
To complete this large-scale project, VISEO and Cegid relied on their international infrastructure, which includes over 10 global subsidiaries and a strong network of local Value Added Resellers (VAR). More importantly, they closely collaborated with the client. “Our teams and the client’s management developed strong synergies, allowing us to quickly adapt the core model to address business complexities in Asia, the USA, and EMEA,” added Sylvain Jauze of Cegid.
