The challenge

Our client faced numerous challenges in streamlining its Point-of-Sale (POS) operations across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan. The client sought to integrate its disparate POS systems to enhance business management and support the opening of its flagship store in Japan within a tight timeframe of six months.

The solution

With a comprehensive understanding of our client’s challenges, our team embarked on a solution-driven approach to revolutionise their retail operations. Leveraging CEGID SaaS platform, we provided a unified POS system solution across all our client’ stores in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Additionally, we successfully implemented the first flagship store in Japan within the stipulated timeframe.

Integration with various systems was achieved seamlessly, including SAP/BI, OMS, CRM, WMS, and financial systems, enabling our client to optimise sales, inventory management, CRM/marketing, and financial processes. We also implemented robust data security controls and established a highly available infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Moreover, we focused on enhancing store business operations by implementing proper access right management for all users and integrating customer management with Shuyun to serve customers seamlessly across channels. E-commerce sales data was integrated back into the POS system for centralised data management and analysis, empowering our client with valuable insights for informed decision-making.
